I had a massage therapist work on my ischial tuberosity yesterday. She really got in there and brought tears to my eyes. I could hardly walk out of there.

I was told a funny story by the male nurse. It seems some guy didn't want the male nurse to shave him and asked if his wife could do it. The nurse said yeah and showed her how to do it, well the nurse left and came back in 5 mintues and blood was everywhere. Before they could operate on him they had to stop all the bleeding first....lol”

“My sweet boyfriend had that little procedure done when he was 24 years old and we had three kids already. I can't tell you how nice it has been all these years not having to worry about making another kid nobody needed.

Anyway, the reason I wrote this was to say I was the nurse--it was all so simple I was ready to go out and set up shop--felt I could do it myself :)”

“Well, I lived, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I have no significant swelling, and no significant pain, other than my back hurting because I had to lie on my back all day yesterday. But I have good pain meds for that.

Ewker, you told that story at Fiery Gizzard, and I recounted it to the nurse (female) who had to shave me a little more. Apparently I didn't get quite enough.

As far as "slippage" or "lil Bit", lol...there were none of those issues. Everything is intact except for my ability to spread my genes around. Not that I'm going to stop trying, mind you, lol...”
