Whats with all the snow?

“Just northeast of here they got 10 inches, a little early for snow - but i've got my sled ready :). I've been seeing snow since august in the mountains, and it hasn't stopped. this whole weekend, wed - sun we saw snow camping up north, near the boundary waters, heck of a car camping trip though - the lil bro had school off for MEA so we went out, like every other year, and it snowed the whole time - as opposed to other years where I have gone swimming in Lake Superior, or at least walked around in shorts and t-shirt. Crazy weather this year.”

“Snow in western Mass this morning. Three inches on top of all the foliage. It'd be a lot nicer to look at if I didn't have miles of dirt road to travel over without studs on the car yet. Time to get serious about getting ready for winter.”

“Yo Lyndy, how ya been. I've been really busy with art work and battening down the hatches around here. Really would've liked to hit Maine with y'all, but no time. Maybe later this year, unless I go to Chile again to build another reed boat. Any plans for an ECT trip in PA or nearby, later? I'm gonna try to get up to VT early November and knock off another section of the LT - got friends up there I can park Josette with while I hike. NC was nice. Went up to Shining Rock again by different routes. Had some excitement when the old Svea decided to vent itself. Quite a little fireball! But repairs have been made and it's back in business for another 35 years. Probably going back to NC, VA or TN in early December for a few days of bping.”
