I have a hammered dulcimer album by John McCutcheon that features the group Pentangle. I love the instrumentals, but not the vocal songs.”

“there is one particular album that is far above. It is called "Down to the moon". I have been listening to Andreas for years and find his music to be a surreal soundscape that accompanies me in my waking walks in the wilderness.

To all that have and will experience this music...I say ENJOY!!! It is timeless and ethereal.”

“I very much agree...for this site, I think he is one of the best introductions of personal music..no one gets the same from listening to him...I have seen him twice in concert and I was mesmerized by him and his VERY minimal musicians...only four. I have been listening to him for 12 years and have yet to tire from any piece he does. I have all of his music so if there is one you would like, I would be much obliged to send you a tape.”

I do have a lot of electronic music. David Arkenstone does some powerful theme albums.

I also like Baaba Maal, a Senagalese singer. Got to finally see him in concert last winter. It was a great night. His latest album features accoustic Senegalese instruments.”

“I too, have listened to Andreas. His music has this way of conjouring up images in your mind, as you listen to the different instruments he and his band memebers play.

I have a particular piece that I love, that has a drumming part in it that makes me think of dancing women.... dancing around a campfire late at night in celebration of a wonderful harvest. It has such a powerful beat, and it always makes me smile as I tap my feet to the rhythm. Wish I could remember the name of it.....

I love listening to his music as I work around my home, ..... but most of all, while I'm relaxing in the tub..... the sounds sooth me.

“For a while Andreas was following each CD by taking a riff and adding it to the new CD. I particularly enjoyed "Caverna Magica" and "White Winds". I find his music to be very conducive to imagination.”
