Jiminy, it's no big deal. I was totally freaked out by these freaks and would not post my pic. for a million yrs. Then I started getting all kinds of good advice about bping. Then I tried out a few other topics on them and they gave me good advice on that stuff too. Then I went ahead and posted a "sorta'" pic. So, finally, I decided to go hiking w/ a few of them (see Montanapalooza threads) and it was great and they were great and I learned lots. Plus, they donated a bunch of gear to me. The only one you really have to watch out for is Crazy Mike. He's a little unstable. (Just kidding you Mike, you lovely little pimpmiester!) Anyway, try it out. You'll have a good time. I can't wait for the next trip I can go on.”

Take a look at that story.. it pretty much tells it all for me.. See, I live in West TN.. and around here?.. people don't hike. They fish, they hunt, they consume large quantities of their favorite beverage and watch football.

My wife, my son, my daughter, my friends -- have no desire to hike and backpack.. I had no choice.. advertise on the net and see who shows up.

Guess what?.. I have never met a TTer who did not make a lasting impressing, and who not hesitate to hike with again.

“Hiking with internet folks is fun!!!! I'm up to about 30 something hair lockets and counting. Workin on the DNA collection for the big kool-aid party. Now if I can just figure out how to put these freakin dogs hairs into the fray of things I'll be closer to finalizing the 'plan'. (plan,,,,,,,,,,,,who said plan?)

Anyhoot, I wouldn't hesitate to take any of these folks out, for a moondance that is. There is just something memoriable about sharing a moonlight waltz even if I'm the only one awake.
