Tiger Woods Billboard in Michigan

“On the way back from Jordan River area we saw a billboard with a character drawing of Tiger Woods. We thought that was weird seeing that in Northern Michigan. It was about voting yes for funds to help prevent water polution.

ESPN reported today about the billboard. They said that neither Tiger Woods or his agent gave permission for the billboard.

“Gee, a billboard (gak!) advocating less pollution...no irony there? Was the message golf connected, since golf courses and the pesticides and herbicides used to maintain them have been an issue for water resource groups. I recall some major fights over this in NW Michigan in the past, around Traverse City and Gaylord areas.”
