“I have to second what Birch and others said... I'm disappointed that you took the word of one (or more?) person w/out having confronted those that you're accusing.

I know the three accused (I feel like an attorney!) and know them all to be very very kind people. I'm sure anything that was said (if anything was said at all) was in a sarcastic/joking manner. This is a fun group and we joke w/ each other constantly.

CMB - You acted out of hurt and/or anger when you started this thread. Understandable. I'm sure we're all guilty to something like that... in some degree. You have since apologized and you recogize that you may have jumped on this too quickly. Good for you.

I am upset and disappointed w/ the idiot who decided to repeat what he/she THOUGHT they heard. What were you thinking? What was your motive?

The person that did this couldn't know those three very well, or they would have recognized that what was allegedly said was prolly a joke anyway.
I hope that this person is reading these posts and feeling very guilty at this point. I'm sure they're getting a little nervous cause as more people post, we narrow down the list of possible suspects!
