Tarabull - yes, I can just see you doing the airplane feed with Bobo. haha!

I've eaten backpacking meals at home many times. I've even used my camp stove a few times. I've also slept in my bag at home a few times. Cozy. However, I get strange looks from the neighbors when I dig catholes in the back yard.

Actually I do.

I was on a trip to Big South Fork once and this girl had some summer sausage. So, I cooked some Lipton Butter Noodles or maybe it was Alfredo noodles. It's the kind in the packet.

Boil water.
Insert noodle packet.
turn down the heat to a simmer.
add cut up summer sausage and add to pan
cook until noodles are soft.

Make sure you stir quite a bit so that the noodles won't stick to the bottom and burn.

After noodles have cooked.
Turn stove off.
let sit for 5 minutes or so and stir up again.
Then eat.

This was a great recipe. I had forgotten all about it.

Pennsy-Glad you like the potatoes.
