Stolen from another Board
"We would like to make a special offer to members of the Lightweight Backpacker who may belong to Hiking clubs . We will give one free silk sleeping bag liner for each order of 5 sleeping bag liners to one address.

That is, the person who submits the order of 5 liners will receive 6 and free first class airmail postage and insurance. The package usually arrives in 7 to 10 days from ordering. This special offer will last until November 30th. Just mention in the comments space on the order form that you belong to the Lightweight Backpacker. Our prices are now in USD.

Best wishes to you all.

Above post was stolen from one of those "other boards". Some of you natural-born organizers might be able to score on a free silk liner. Doesn't say if they all have to be the SAME TYPE of liner, but that should be easy enough to find out. Just passing it along...

Before I bought my Mountainsmith pack I was given a Gregory G-series pack. It is an older model and does not have sip tube vents but it does have a hydration sleeve pocket. I just ran the hose out the top opening and it worked fine. Websites list equivalent models at about 2700 or so. This is a medium torso which is the reason I am getting rid of it. It is too small for me by a couple of inches. But I really liked the way it rode none the less.

This pack is free to the first person who wants it. It was given to me gratis so it goes from me gratis. My e-mail is in my profile. Drop me a message is you have any questions or want the pack. It is blue and is virtually new.

Just for the heck of it, why don't you give it to the 2nd person asking? Everyone goes with the first. Be the first (or second) in your crowd to break out of this cultural slump C'mon be a trend setter. Grow some nads, screw Eweker. Pick me.

Nimblefoot... even at the second person you would still be SOL. Further I gave the guy who gave it to me first refusals... he said give it to the first guy. So I'm stuck.

Ok... we're on a roll. Nowhere near as wonderful an option as the first offer, but still and all.

I have at least two external frame backpacks I will no longer be using. One is a Camptrails Adjustable II youth pack. The second is a Kelty Tioga wannabe built on a Kelty frame. They are both in need of some TLC and have been cannabalized somewhat but are still very serviceable.

These are free to whoever wants them. I would say the fifth caller but I don't know if I'll even get one sucker, er taker. Waist belt and shoulder straps would be a good investment for them. Not sure what they have on them right now as they are in the attic and I am not.

That's okay, didn't really want it anyway. Just seemed a good way to needle two birds with the same stone:)

Ok I got the pack Tuesday Evening(just couldnt get to the computer till now) Nice pack! Fits great,I never would have thought that was a homemade packbag if I didnt already know it!! Its kinda funny because on my first real backpacking trip in the White Mountains over 30 years ago I carried a ext frame pack that looked very much like this one.I had that pack for over 20 years! Blaze orange pack with green straps and belt,I loved that pack!! Thanks alot Rev!!

That pack has sentimental value to me. But I am keeping the one I spec to my liking. One thing for sure....you won't be mistaken for a deer during hunting season.
