Some white people here claimed to have been insulted, but I suspect they have hidden agendas in their "holier than thou" responses. Which are almost personal attacks filled with anger and hatred. Tells something about them.

On the trail, I highly doubt that these same "politically corrected" white people would respond the same way. In fact, I bet they would appreciate a good "nigger joke" by the campfire.
