Not if they are made from the same material, bm.

That said, I don't use nalgeens much. They are very heavy and a plastic water bottle is way lighter.

I use a Nalgene and a carabiner for a counterweight on my bear hang rope. I don't have to worry about that sucker hitting the ground. Although I have broken the lid connector thingy.

Last month I was ready to buy a Northface Goliath zero degree(Campmor) because my 20 degree Big Fella from way back was much too cold on a Fall night last November. Well even though I talked myself out of it for now, I liked the Northface and they also sell an expander for their newer bags.

I also got into a Marmont trestle x-wide 15 degree,(cheaper $$) and really loved the cut of the bag even more and I believe it packed tighter and was lighter. Wish they made a 0 degree x-wide bag.

For me the 20 degree Northface bag is good to around 30 degrees in the open(Lean-to) with no long underwear. The night I froze I was next to a river DUHHH in a tent at probably 25 degrees with the long underwear. If I moved my camp set-up 50 yards away from the river I probably would of been all right but then I couldnt quest for GEAR.

Been looking all winter and havent found many other choices.

Feathered Friends Ibis works well for me and I am only slightly smaller than you, packs up small (for a 0 deg bag) and keeps me warm on cold nights

note however the price is enough to choke a horse : http://www.featheredfriends.com/ProductDetails.aspx?productId=14&CatId=1&ProductName=Ibis

so i noticed this guy had a insul-mat. nice
he said he was sorry that it was in my way and he just had not gotten to throwing it out.
WTH?
needless to say, i got his kitty out and I got a brand new backpacking mat! a tad heavy but not bad for free :)

Holy smokes! It pays to be a good neighbor. My neighbor came over this morning, asking me to help him haul two couches out of his basement. Without a hitch, I agreed - we have a tight neighborhood out here. It turns out, the "couches" he was talking about were two "This Ends Up" couches, two end tables, a coffee table and an entertainment center, all "This End's Up" stuff. The gear is perfect for a cabin.

Anyway, much to my surprise, he wanted to haul it to the curb. It went straight to my garage, lol, and I was able to unload my vintage Stroh's kegerator to his kid, who is now an AHL hockey goalie. The stuff is in mint condition - what a find!

Anyway, I knew only us backwoods cabin lovin' types would appreciate this kind of news.

Now all I need is a cabin.
