Carpools Needed

“I have received several emails and phone calls from folks wanting to come to Tc2, but not sure if their old car can make it, or not sure if they can afford the gas, or not sure if they really want to drive that far all by themself.

If you are coming (or thinking of coming to Tc2, would you please be kind enough to make that known here, so those who have asked me regarding carpooling can hook up and make the trip together? Thanks! :)

I might not get a chance to check back on this thread, so just let me say that if you have not a clue what Tc2 is -- it is a backpacker's challenge cookoff, and it is being held in Big South Fork National Recreation and River Area in Tennessee.

Right now, we are giving away some pretty substantial prizes (packs, cooksotves, tents, and a Hennessey Hammock.. :).. as well as a bunch of other gear and non-hiking related books, videos, household goods, etc. We have reserved a 40 acre site, and having vendor booths of local outdoors stores giving away free stuff and selling gear, and doing some seminars and stuff.
