Wooo Whoooo!!! :-)
Hpm kicks major A

The shirt looks great. Its about time my shirts advertise something good. Usaly my shirts advertise what ever designer it is made by. Now I'm a walk ad for the coolest site on the net.

HPM, thanks for puting all of this together. Many have tried, many have failed, you my friend have succeeded. You rock! And to top the TT shirts you sent me the old school BSA hand book. Very cool. Thanks alot. I'm just thuming through it now and compairing it to my current edition. I have concluded that the new hand book is #&%!$-fide crap and the old book has actual knowledge. One book for all events, not like the new book where its intire porpose is to get you to by the merit badge books if you want to learn anything. Yes the old book may tell you how to kill a rabbid dog, or says CPR in some crazy way, but the campcraft has so much info that the new book lacks. And to look back on the requirments for each rank I see it was far harder to advance then it is today. Camping meritbadge for example: reqirment 1, sleep in the woods for 50 nights. FIFTY!! number 2: have made a bed of wild material! Number 5: Know how to construct a raft. That is so cool I wish I was a scout back then. Now in contrast check out the new requirments. Now they only want 20 nights. And no raft.

I would have loved to be a scout back then. Although there was lots of hazing at the time and when I first joined I think I was under 5 ft and sub 100 lbs. Now I could withstand hasing, but when I started I probably would have been scared off. Anyway, new book sucks, old book kicks major A. Thanks HPM.

I kind of missed this whole thread. If anyone has a double XX out there that they're just going to use to mop up motor oil, drop me a line.

Thanks!

BTW, those shirts look great. Oh, and Birch, if you are out there, the MM patches kick all forms of ass.

Glad y'all enjoy them.

Skully, I don't know what to tell you other than it was sent parcel post on 12-10. Lemme know when you get them.

You're welcome Ice Tea. Here's an idea to pitch to your troop.

A 1910 themed trip where you camp using only the methods and materials avilable to scouts around 1910. Build your own tarps and bedrolls ect. I just got back from our 1910 trip. It was a blast.

1910 might be better as a spring or fall trip though.

Propane heaters? Egads, son! Those things will kill you!
