Savage Gulf Thoughts

“For a small town boy from Alabama to get to hike around a ditch that big, well it makes for a good weekend. It was my first trip to the gulf, and along with my wife we had a great three day adventure. We started at Savage Gulf ranger station friday and camped at Savage falls. Saturday we made the trip to Hobbs cabin where we set up our home for the evening. It was great. The cabin was really cool. Met some of folks with the Seirra group that were there camping and swapped a few stories with one of them on the hike out. Can't wait to see the rest of it.”

“Did you happen to lose anything in Hobb's Cabin?”

“My headlamp. It was so dark in there. We thought we got everything packed untill we got home.”
