Thanks, everyone. HPM's gonna be gone on a scout camping trip on my b-day, and Laurel will be at the outlaws' house, so it should be a quiet evening of power-sanding a hutch for me!

Yes, that is one of my ideas of fun. I haven't left the kitchen all day today because I'm practicing/ gearing up for that great debacle known as the holidays.

After five years I've finally accurately determined my oven runs 9 degrees too hot. That's a lot of burnt baked goods.

“Thanks, everyone! I think the best gift I got today was a pic of Laurel HPM took of her this afternoon. It's a hoot! I'll have him post it later.

Went clothes shopping, and cool! Everything I got was 50% off! Nothing trail related this time, though HPM did get me a Patagonia Regulator zipup top in a really cool gecko green. The other good thing I got? Laurel saved all of her crying and conniption fits for daddy!”
