“KABUL, Afghanistan (CNN) -- More details have emerged on the identities of two Western men who were found stoned to death in the Chelsatone Garden area of Kabul a day earlier.

According to a source with a non-governmental organization, both men were European -- one was carrying a Swiss passport and was born in 1976. Both were backpackers.
