Got an email

“I got an email from Artex today. What a surprise. He just asked what was up. It's been quite a while since I've posted - life is amusing some times, and has recently kept me from anything outdoorsy. 8-P So, I've not had much to talk about here. Little update nonetheless.

After camp (heaven/paradise) was over and I packed up all my gear, I hopped in my van (88 plym voyager - 225k miles. I love my van) and drove to Indiana to visit my father where I promptly ran out of money. So, I got a job at a coffee shop and spent two months or so drinking the best coffee I've ever had. If any of you ever go to Lafayette Indiana, go to Murky Waters Coffee Company. You won't be sorry. Anyway, since I was only planning on visiting for a week or two, I didn't have any of my gear with me so didn't have anything to backpacking with - not that there's much to hike in the middle of corn land.

Now I'm back up in Northern Minnesota for a week or so before I move back to Minneapolis to work and eventually go back to school. It's getting cold (no winter gear here) and my van has died (I am crying as I type), so any hiking I do will most likely be between where I eventually move to and the bus stop. Oh well, at least the winters in Minnesota are short. I suppose I'll dig out my CC Skiis.

Who knows, maybe when I move to Minneapolis if I have internet I'll start lurking a bit again. Peace, love, and moleskin,

2006 Suzuki 1000. This bike is perfect! It has 1000 miles and has had its 500 mile dealer service. (Expensive) It's been adult ridden, all wheels have always been on the ground. I use it as a cruiser/commuter. I'm selling it because it was purchased without proper consent of a loving wife. Apparently "do whatever the f*** you want" doesn't mean what I thought.”
