Folks, it is I, woeisme. I dont have a story this time around, but I do have an observation of sorts. Now I have been around here bout as long as dirt, and in that time I've been a watching those ole fuzzy wooly worms. They are the very jades that the old timers say can tell you how the winter is gonna pan out.

Sometimes their fuzz is all brown, sometimes all black, or mixed. Now I have heard that the brown stands for milder winter weather while the black stands for more severe conditions. Lets say you found some that had black on each end but brown in the middle section. Why....... that means that the beginning and end of winter would be colder while mid-winter would be milder.

What happens when you find all three kinds in the same year like has been a happening for the past little while? Well my friends, no longer will you have to fret, or scratch your heads in perpetual perplexion. There is no longer a need to deepen the creases of your furrowed brows from long hours of deep thought over this problem because I, woeizme, have done gone and figured it all out for you my friends.........heheheheh

Wooly Worms are usually real good at a tellin how the winter is gonna pan out, but over the last little while I have noticed that they seem a mite confused......their sense of right and wrong skewed by some unknown factor of nature, or abnormal influence. What could it be? Why, all of a sudden, are there wooly worms a crawlin all around that cant tell heads from tails when it comes to forecasting? What has caused all this obnubilation?

Well folks, worry no more. The wooly worms will be back in top form a little later on. They are a working against a handicap at the present, but will be back in the weather forcasting bidness before long. Once again they will shine!

I've been a hearin about this weather pheno....uh......phen.......uh........this unusual weather situation......that has done come from out towards California....on out past there in the Pacific Ocean. Its supposed to have been causing all sorts of weather problems over the last few years, and I do believe this is what has upset the wooly worm.

Its called El Camino. There you have it. Problem solved! No need to wring your hands in nervous anticipation any longer. The wooly worms will once again be the most reliable weather forcasters around as soon as those el caminos run out of gas..........heheheheh

People of the realm of trail talk...The Lizs that you all have known and loved is no longer...now you see a kinder, more gentler side of Lizs...I ask you to be patient with her, give her time...she may yet regain her razor sharp wit.
