Never had a problem, just be mindful of your environment. If I'm heading into the desert I just use the regular stuff bag. If I'm going someplace "wet" I'll put the stuffed bag inside a "Lawn and Leaf" weight trashbag.

I've always slept warm and cozy.....

Unfortunately I don't know anyone at that location now. I work with the former manager of that store now, he's here in SLC with me. It is a good store, doing well, they get great service scores. I'm sure they'll treat you right.

Sorry, I'm not that well connected east of Denver anymore. Now Boise, Missoula, Bay Area, Phoenix, SLC, Denver, Seattle, and Reno....that's a different story.

Here's what I would ideally stuff my sleeping bag with:

GO BUDDHA !!!!!!

Convergance Zone vs Precip...both good.

Convergance Zone...a bit more waterproof, less breathable, heavier, more durable, cheaper.

Precip..Lighter, more packable, better breathability, typical Marmot quality (excellent), more expensive.

I stand corrected on pricing....everything else stabds though. (Sorry, I'm not at work now....I can't peek at price tags...It's hard to remember prices on all 165,000 SKU's we have in the store.)

No good BB.

I paid $189 for my -5 REI downtime. $ well spent IMHO.

AND, I love the autumnal orange "pumpkin" color. It compliments my complextion well, lol. (Who cares what color it is...it's not raging bright, and it's a good warm bag)

It's only warm because of the "birch" factor.

Unfortunately we couldn't find a left zip bag so the *extra* cold weather bags don't zip together. Only the 25 degree bags. Too bad, I swear snuggle factor adds at least ten degrees.

I just got a Feathered Friends Petrel with 800 fill. I'm going to try it out this weekend. It's rated 10 degrees and weighs less than 3 lbs. It's a womens bag and they had a short (5'3" and under) on sale, so I bought it. I'm going to try it out this weekend.
