You could stay at home and sleep in your own little beddy bye and maybe your mom will kiss you good night and you won't fall out (you can put a chair by the bed if you need to) and you can sneak into the kitchen for a midnight snack. Hey!! That will solve your problem :)

Cripe! I hope you don't mind if your knees are shot by the time you're 40.

Good luck.

Nope. I've gotten Sauron's cold. It's nasty and if it takes me as long to get over it as it has taken him, I won't be hiking for at least a couple more weeks.

Hope that you feel better soon, Scully. We are all still coughing in my house.

Thanks. I'll be fine. Although I don't think it's really helping to be allergic to cough medicine. I really wish I wasn't right about now.

i don't know much about the pad you're talking about. but i carry a camplite. it's over 2 1/2 pounds, 25 inches wide. not sure how thick off hand but i've never slept anywhere where anything even thought about poking through. very warm also.
on the zaleski trip i think they were calling it the couch when i had it set up as chair. very nice pad.

I couldn't even find my blemish.

i just checked that le pad out. brandon, that's not the pad i was talkin bout. but, daammmmm, that's a lot of pad. the one i was talking about is only 1.6 in thick, with a rvalue of 4.1 versus 5.1 for the le.
it thought 2,12 was a lot for a pad. that le is 3,7!!!!
you guys are crazy.:)

i didn't know they would make one bigger than the one i have.
i guess im not the king anymore.
i know you don't care about weight, but that camplite pad is pretty dern big too and it's like half the price. you also save like 13 oz. or something, not that that part interests you at all:))

I can get the Le camp for about 60% off. So, I think I'm going to get it.

that's a good price.
now you guys got me all jealous and i've never even had a problem with my pad. how does this happen to me?
it could be cause i just got done with my first patch job on my big pad. snagged it on my treadmill when i was putting stuff away after the zaleski trip. dammit.

dude, that is a gear foul. if you damage it, it at least has to be on the trail

I bought an LE several years ago and it improved my sleeping 100%. I love it and it weighs the same as my old Thermarest Long.

A year ago I added the chair kit and it has been great also.
