That was a rather funny picture...! Personally, I liked yesterday's better..... what a beautiful sight!

Not to mar the amusing image, but this just past Sunday, I was on my way home, when a small pickup truck bypassed me. In the back... he had 2 deer. Of course, I can appreciate the fact that he was probably proud of his kill, but to see it all displayed, spread out for everyone to see, bloodied, NOT covered up in the tiniest bit .... made me nearly cause an accident... trying to keep myself from tossing up my lunch! IT WAS NASTY! Just wish hunters would consider the REST of us John Q. Public when they do stuff like that! He could've at least put a tarp loosely over them! Just to cover up the bloody mess! UGGGGH!

Sorry for the small rant.... :-/

Here at work we have a drawing for cash. Customers bring in their dead deer & we take a photo of them with their kill. After the season we have a drawing for $500 cash. Yesterday a guy came in with 2 deer strapped to the trunk of his car. A convertible Mercedes.

Raven
I don't think that is any worse than any of the large road kills that decompose on the highways.

Twigeater is correct most states require the animal to be visible.

At least those deer were in the back of the pickup and not the front of someone elses.

I'm surpised that guy didn't rig up a 'hand truck' to hual it in.

I didn't realize that that's what they're supposed to do. Thanks for letting me know, Twigeater and Briar Rabbit.

But can't they just put a blue tarp loosely on top of it? Letting the legs poke out should suffice...right? This way, it's not so gory! I mean, ... it was just nauseating!
