GOP Prepares to Block Debate on Financial Regulations Bill

All 41 Senate Republicans appear to be aligned against allowing progress on a bill that would overhaul financial regulations.

Senators will vote Monday night on whether to limit debate on the motion to proceed to the bill, and Republicans are expected to hang together, thus denying Democrats the 60 votes they need to move forward.
