I agree with Strat. I think it is ridiculous to delete someone's post or penalize someone for posting fuego on a non-feugo thread - when clearly, by the title, it should be fuego. Just because Demand Media or moderators cannot, or will not, reclassify the thread, does not mean the rest of us should be held accountable to a rule that not even the owners observe.

you newer ones may not remember but there was a time when fuego didn't exist as a category...this thread was created quite a while ago...with the way demand is i wouldn't be surprised if the mods didn't have access to change the category”

“I think deleting those threads is really the best answer---we need to save us from ourselves. I, for one, was shocked to open an old thread that had "Republicans" in the title only to find out it was Fuego and there were no funny kitten pictures. Our job as moderators should be to protect users from such a scary and potentially devastating discovery. Can we really afford to lose more users because there's no trail report in the Liberals are Pansies thread or no water filter advice in the Republican Kill Puppies thread? I don't think we should take that chance.”
