“Hey girl..thought of you yesterday on the way home. I got behind this guy in his new Z3 with the top down!! He had his ear warmer on and fleece!! Temps were mid 40's...I thought "Boy life is good" and I had to open the sun roof!

“A few months back my daughters and I went on a 2 day camping trip on a nomally well traveled area, but we went during the middle of the week. Except for a handfull of people at the trailhead, we didn't see another soul the entire time. All the trails, the cliff face, the overlook,b the river and minor falls, were all our own personal preserve. Pretty cool.”

“I mentionned this before, but: I was driving the 8½ hour drive to see my daughter who is a student at Laurentian University in northern Ontario (Sudbury) and was driving through Ottawa - yuppie capital of Canada (actually, we're not 'young' any more). BTW, I'm 54. Anyhoo, I was driving my Jeep Wrangler behind a PT Cruiser, followed by a Newbgeetle and we were passed by a Hummer. 'you win.' I thought through clenched mental teeth.”

“chili, I can't remember which thread we were discussing geocaching on, so I will just mention this here. I picked up my girls from school, along with a couple of tag-along friends, and we went out searching for our first cache. Even without a GPS we went straight to it and found it with very little effort, even though it was off the main trail. I had the treasure hunters formed up like a picket line on each side of this little rabbit trail we figured was a likely candidate. It was a blast. They can't wait to do it again. Now all I have to do is go get hooked up on the geocaching page, so I can report our exchange of plunder.”

I just found out that they are selling the building that my company is in.

moving to Long Island City which is a 2 hour ride or to North New Jersey which I will have to drive and might be about an 1 1/2 hour drive
