I couldn't find any alcohol in the cabinet in my bathroom. Can I use Hydrogen Peroxide?

If you don't mind waiting a few years for you dinner it would work as well as water.

Nate,

This site, StoveStompers site, and Sgt. Rock's site can keep you merrily making stoves through the winter. You can make, modify, and test to your heart's content.

actually limpy, with a lot of work, a first aid kit, and a couple dozen fire extinguishers you might be able to make a stove that ran on Hydrogen peroxide. We just did an experiment in Bio class were we put some raw liver in Hydro-peroxide and then lit the gas comin off of the reaction (pure Oxygen). Good Luck!

Arrived home today from AFT trip, say giant shoebox on table from somebody in California. I picked it up, it was very heavy. I thought, WTF, what the heck is this.

Opened box, it was 3 aluminum can stoves, sent by rockman, aka pantscandy & Mtn. Mo. The box was heavy because it also included:
1 blinking snowman nose
1 elf hat
1 white monkey
1 incedible hulk, 13" inflatable character
1 wrist pocket first aid kit
1 san jose sharks hat
1 lake tahoe screen saver
1 mini-lamp
1 .5 ML bottle of Yukon Jack
1 .5 ML bottle of wild turkey
1 .5 ML botle of Chivas Regal Scotch
1 Awsome poster of Tosemite National Park
1 lightstick
1 bag of shark stickers
1 switchbalde knife
2 cool mini-pins (Dylan rocks!)
3 mesh laundery bags
1 "Instructional Video"

and a signed picture of Pantscandy, and some super hot chick, err mtn mo.

Dude that was too darn cool of you to do that, it made my day!

Thanks, I'll be using some of my new gear at TC2, with a pantscandy, errrrr, rockman & mtn mo memorial at the HMWH Club Tent & Bar.

The stoves are sweet, much better than the aluminum stove bombs, I tried to make.

Thanks again bro, and look farward to meeting the Califorinia version of Mr. & Mrs. Claus someday.

Even Buddha Bear Can Make This One
I've added a page to my website for Jim's Mini Cat Can alcohol stove.
Non blacksmiths can make this one. ;)
Requires a small aluminum can, a "church key" can opener, a bit of coat hanger wire, and fiberglass insulation.
