“Anyone passing through Chicago over Thanksgiving? I have some time to blow there ("there" being Union Station downtown and environs) Wednesday, Nov. 27, and again Monday, Dec. 2. (before and after visiting stikmon)

I am a-skeered Crazy Mike will come see me, but that would be OK if he's buying food. ;-)

I found out I will miss RL -- that's Reformed Lurker -- by about 2 hours on his Thanksgiving trek.

So....... anybody??? We could do the big hike from Union Station down to the lake front and back. LOL!! I forget, but it's maybe 10 blocks each way??? LOLOLOL.......

Wed. Nov. 27 plans call for me to arrive around 4:30 and leave around 8.

On Monday, Dec. 2, plans call for arriving around 9 a.m. and leaving around 2.

Maybe we could set up a TT Thanksgiving holiday, limited time blast, eh??

As to laying "out a series of agents to catch you, drugs are so plentiful in Chicago, the police ignore the small fry. Chicago police ignore over 80% of the misdemeanor cannabis violations they observe. We had a case up today where the police made a mistake and executed a search warrant for a drug dealer on the wrong house. Even though they were in the wrong house, the police still found drugs, an illegal gun , and made felony arrest which resulted in a plea of guilty in court. Making drug arrest in Chicago is like eating blueberries in a blueberry patch. Enjoy your stay in Chicago, and watch our for pickpockets and muggers.”
