Keep scratching behind your head during the interview and sniffing your fingers.

They'll let you out of it.

jury duty friggin' roooolz. Of course I get paid to do it... how many people watch Judge Judy for free? Both cases I've been on have been totally interesting... you know they won't be doing much... go on the 23rd they'll excuse it til' next year probably.

But if you wanna get out of it tell them...

you are busy with your KKK commitments during the timeframe.

Rodney King deserved what he got

Everyone in prison is actually innocent.

O.J. is a hero

you have tourettes and proceed to swear in bursts

tell them the judge, defendent, any given attorney reminds you of an ex-bf/gf and how much YOU HATED THAT FRIGGIN' A-HOLE

Or you think the death penalty should be applied to all convicted felons such as the defendant and his/her attorney.

Why would you want to get out of jury service. As a juror, you are in a postion to be able to rid society of the criminals who make life miserable for their victims.

Remember, a conservative is a liberal who was mugged the night before. And also remember, they are all guilty, it's just that the rules of evidence does not allow the jury to listen to all the evidence that proves the case beyond a reasonable doubt.

i had jury duty once (still have my little letter and got a $10 check).... I just made it one day, briefing and all, but my husband was in korea, so I had no one that was able to bring the kids to school and pick them back up. As far as I can remember I had to explain why I wasn't able to make it and I had to bring my husbands orders. (not sure, but I think that's what it was)

I would do this again in a second.

I have two friends that had jury duty and really liked it. They found it interesting.

Way ta go Prosecutor. I have to ask... Do you mean to be sarcastic?

If not, may God help you if the tables are ever turned. Someday the charade of 'innocent until proven guilty' might be visited on You. How would you like to share the exercise yard with some of your past associates? The state could sell tickets and recoup court costs (nah.... they'd send you to some country club á là Watergate or Iran-Contra).

You've never prosecuted (much less gotten a conviction on) an innocent person; you're infallible! Have you ever had second thoughts? Ever have trouble sleeping? How many capital cases have you prosecuted? You've never sent an innocent person off to a date with the needle have you? How clean IS your conscience, really... ?

Then again... there's a better than fair chance that this is only a troll.

Would the real Ed Ronkowski step forward?

My jury duty is December 9
They always send me packing now. I am everything they don't want:

Engineer
Statistician
College Professor
They think I am Jewish

It is fun to see what happens. Last time I was in the courtroom of the same Judge who granted OJ custody of his kids. She was actually very sharp.

My turn, today. Happily they didn't want me for the one trial that came up for a jury trial. It was for murder - didn't want to see those gory details!

Back to regular work tomorrow.

I have jury duty in May. Sort of a bus driver's holiday.
