Judging by the trip reports I can't think of two people more suited to each other.

Hooray, congratulations and best of luck.

Backcountry wedding?
Are we all invited?

Thanks for all the good thoughts everyone!

I told her if she didn't marry me she'd lose her high-speed Internet connection. That sealed the deal!

Thanks!

Geezr, don't worry, we're getting titanium rings.

We know we'll make it because we survived 30 days on the JMT and didn't kill each other! No showers either!

We considered a backcountry wedding, but will more than likely just go to a justice of the peace, plop down a check, and get it over with. We both don't care for weddings. We'll just have parties after to celebrate. We're thinking about having one in Mammoth, one in the backcountry, and another in the city.

Honeymoon: thinking about taking a week off to snowboard Whistler/Blackcomb.

And yes, Tekdude.....there will be a trip report.

Thanks for the good wishes!

It all works out, as if it were planed
the two joined together, hand in hand
Nymph, will you now and forever more take this one you call Dude
and Dude, will you take Nymph to the woods, when she`s in the mood
Dude and Nymph, will you remember this moment, the beauty in it and all
Dude said he could, Nymph said said she would, snowflakes started to fall
on a cold crisp night Nymph and Dude recite their vows
then ski off together on fresh powder behind snow plows
it`s just like a winter wonderland, those two in hand, the proof`s in the picture
may your days be bright, the snow always white as you start off on this adventure
a snow-white wedding cake cut, his and her hands on the knife
I`ll raise my glass to the both of you, here`s to a great life

Bigfoot, that's so sweet! You're so creative!

Yep, spend $$ on the celebration/trip instead of a wedding!

Newgirl, that's quite an honor!

And after I posted last night (I was tired), I remembered gojo's post "Sassafrass, Sunshine, and Newgy will be a wealth of baby related inquiries..."

No babies here! Mine is 25 yrs old (older than Newgirl!), and we aren't planning on a family.

we're actually getting hitched in Berkeley. There's a little church on Gilman called St. Ambrose. The reception is at the Berkeley city club--which is on Durant between Shattuck and Telegraph.

Not sure if I am allow to register at REI or not...

We know Snow Nymph very little (Dingleberry Lake, Oct 25th)
and didn’t meet SnowDude (yet).

Congratulations and wishing you the best !!

Bruce and Shosh

Everybody has “a reason” to keep his partner:
Snow Nymph “keeps” SnowDude for the “high-speed Internet connection”.
I keep my skeleton guy for Limo services (Limousine)
He keeps me for exchanging the flat tires.
