Just thought I'd tell you that Govt Mule is playing at Red Rocks this summer.

How's the banjo coming along?”

“One of these days, if I'm ever in the area, I'm going to Red Rocks...no matter who is playing there. Aren't you somewhere near there now?

And RE the banjo... been practicing staining the last few weeks and have the look I want. Now I've been doing the final sanding, slowly but surely, and should be able to stain the neck and resonator this weekend. ”

Total lunar eclipse... The whole shoe will be visible on the West Coast, but won't begin until about 1 am PDT for the lighter shadow.... The darker shadow starts across just before 2 am PDT.  For points further East it's more of a "before dawn" event.
