Where's Tilt When You Need Him
A rare event is happening tommorrow...a TOTAL ECLIPSE of the sun. But unfortunately it will be happening on the other side of the globe.

The next one is in 2030.

You Can't Be There But...
Here's some animation of what will occur today.

But you can view it via a Live Webcast.

Now sit back and enjoy the prelude to WWIII.

Yo Buddur.

Just thought I'd tell you that Govt Mule is playing at Red Rocks this summer.

How's the banjo coming along?

One of these days, if I'm ever in the area, I'm going to Red Rocks...no matter who is playing there. Aren't you somewhere near there now?

And RE the banjo... been practicing staining the last few weeks and have the look I want. Now I've been doing the final sanding, slowly but surely, and should be able to stain the neck and resonator this weekend.

We live about an hour away from Red Rocks. Just waiting for the right show to see this summer.

Going to see U2 next Wed down in Denver.

Red Rocks, Rocks! Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe 1989. Me and college buddies load up in a VW Rabbit and head cross country, no shower, no hotel, very little money. Dang, why didn't I do more of that when I was young.

I saw it. No concert when I was there... just some fit chick running up and down the stairs/rocks. Very cool place even without the added ambiance of music.

Lunacy Tonight for you Night Owls:

Total lunar eclipse... The whole shoe will be visible on the West Coast, but won't begin until about 1 am PDT for the lighter shadow.... The darker shadow starts across just before 2 am PDT.  For points further East it's more of a "before dawn" event.

Sooooooooooooooooooooo Suck it up, you "Morning People"!!    LOL

Let me know how it goes -- Don't forget to look west if you're up.

(you'll probably have to click on the image again to get the beeg (legible) one to appear)

I posted all this before on some other thread, but the sucker is hiding from me at the moment. < grr >   As previously stated, folks in Europe, Africa, Russia and the Middle east are completely SOL.  Great views for you Pacific Islanders, though!
