I need a stuff sack that mice and critters can't chew through. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Or a link or somethng?

Thanks

Try a Ursack. I firmly believe that mice and rats pose a much larger threat to ruining a good trip than a bear. At least with a bear you still have a good story to tell everyone.

Walkin Dudes Solution
when I hiked with the dude a while back, he hung his stuff sack up like a bear bag, and passed the cord through the hole of an old CD..works lke the cones that you see on the poles to nesting houses to keep the rats out. Critters can't climb down to the stuff sack without the cd dunping them unceremoniously...

The idea has been working for me...

The 5,000,000 "Free" AOL hours CD works very well for this.

LOL Steve Stomper!

Gosh, you asked for opinions in the thread title. I'm not sure anyone around here is willing to give opinions. :)

We always use a little disk of metal with a hole punched in it - one of my girlfriends dad made it out of the top of a ravoli can or something. She said it was something he learned in the army. I don't know if it works or not - I guess we have never had any problems when we were using it. The CD idea sounds simpler though. Although not as "natural"

Go to the kayak and rafting section of REI or whatever. Try the drysacks, some are pretty tough stuff.
