I have made my pilgrimage to Tc2 and survived. That's right, I went up there for the day. Everybody was having a great time. Cudos to Blue Ridge Mountain Sports for providing great prizes. Major props to Towndawg for making this thing happen.

When I left, the party was raging. The rangers had just taken away TownDawg in handcuffs because of some problems with permits. People were getting into fights because tents were setup to close together. People were urinating into the water trailer. Yelling matches were starting over who was the best troll.

So in recap: Tc2 a success, normal TT antics.

Lets take a test
If you were really at TC2 you should be able to answer a few easy questions. 1.Who won cookout?2.What was the meal? 3. Who are you really?

It's Matt... he would do this. :-)

So.... someone had told me this event would be so much better if only I could have gone to it.

So Matt, was he pining away in his tent, hugging his dog?? Or was he partying his @ss off and almost ready to be charged with "illegal conduct and disrespectful use of a wand while intoxicated???"

Yeah, I thought so......

;-) LOLOLOL Moooooooohahaha

We interrupt this program...
to bring you a special message from your President.

We pulled into the are around 1pm, and were soon face-to-face with Buddha Bear, Stalker, and BBinks. Shortly thereafter we met up with Stovestomper, Jerbear (sounds like gerbil when said in a drunken slur..coincidence??) Ewker, Simer, Mauler (simers friend), and Forest(simers dog). We added on to the already massive HMWHC compound, opened the bar, and commenced to debauchery....for I said let their be beer...and it was so. A group was out on dayhike, and it started to look like many of us were gonna beat Walkindude's who have you met threads.

Oh there was about 1-2 inches of snow on the ground..so this was gonna be fun!

most of us held down spots around the campfire 24/7...and as the night went on, more showed up. Prosecutor and his lovely wife "The Empress". SuperTroll and Trailkitten (aka, one night stand) MDShiker, his daughter Rachel, and his friend showed up with the popup feild hospital. Towndawg, tarabull, Jim (nlol) and chili (maybe more but i forget) came back in from the dayhike. On the other side of the treeline on a ridge was the BRMS group's site, and they contributed as much fun and laughs as they did prizes. Milemonster, a guy from Wileys in HSV, walkindude, and packrat showed up later.

Waterproof MATCHes, Rip van Winkle, and Cool Hand Luke showed up from Ohio...they stumbled onto towndawgs site after searching for porn...errr waterproof matches and decided to come join us..and they fit right in.

(ending this post for stalker..more soon)

2 of towndawgs hiker friends showed up, John(i think) drove right up to the site, and the other was a very nice and pretty hiker (towndawgs holding back on us guys!!)
Gemini, snuck up on the group and almost became a victim of a very horny chili (not what you think...well...lol)
Dayhiker also entered into the equation and all i have to say is GIG 'EM AGGIES!!!!

Stikmon and Khatru slid into the site and were welcomed warmly!

That night ...CENSORED... and then we all drifted off to bed.

Oh i almost forgot Humanpackmule was there the first day, and it was really good seeing him, great guy...and the shirts are soooooo PIMP!!!..also him and walkindude never need to hike with CMB...the knowledge of heavy rock, music, and amp blowing sounds would drive the world mad..lol

Smokeygirl arrived the next morning and was a lifesaver with a truckload of wood.

I'm gonna start forgeting pple and get in trouble so i'll leave out most of the cookoff, prize ceremony, campfire and other scandals for you other guys.

Me and Miss Opie entered in a Chicken and Cheese Enchilada, refried beans, and spanish rice...all cooked on an esbit stove, and easy to pack..usually each of these items is a dinner on the trail..but we combined them in order to wreck Buddha bears lower intestine!

Matt showed up quietly during the day before the cookoff..I had a feeling it was him, and asked...So who would you be...he said Matt...i said Matt who...he said just matt....dim bulbs clicked on all around the campfire and all his loyal subjects dropped to their knees and groveled. He's so much taller in real person!

Good guy, modest, sits in the background and a man of little words. While sitting around the campfire he deleted 3 conversations and banned Buddha bear twice. We asked for the return of bacpac (FREE BACPAC) and chanted BAN GEOBEET!!! (jk)

I also lobbied to have the state of NY banned from trailtalk but all i got was a laugh. He wouldn't even take money..oh well...his children still love him!!! (THANKS MATT!!!!)

Thank you everyone for the great time me and Michelle had...everyone was great, no friction, no scandals, no coarse words, and great food and friends...

I HAVE spoken....miss you guys already!!

OH YEA...DUCTAPE and Prowler..were the hell were you guys..we waited 2 days!!!

bbinkley's hikes he went on
On Friday Jerbear and I hiked the John something farm trail. 6 miles and was a great stroll through the woods. It was great to see you again Jerbear.

Saturday-After Towndawg tried to talk me out of hiking the Honey Creek Trail...I decided to go anyway...Jerbear, Gemini and myself took off. It's supposedly one of the toughest hikes in the state.

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my favorite trail now. It was absolutely unbelievable. If you come to TN you have to do this trail. 5.8 miles long..We crawled through squeezes, crossed creeks on logs, walked creeks that were solid ice, climbed up and down boulders and ladders that were covered in ice,,trying to dodge icicles that were falling from 300 feet above.

There were waterfalls and so many cool things. A fun and challenging hike. I have tons of pics and so does Gemini. I'll post mine as soon as I have them developed.

I want to say thanks to Frank Graham and staff at BSF for letting us have TC2 and for helping with everything.
