NYC folks - drink time!

“Hey gang - can we try to get together for drinks this week?”

“We've got lots of things on the plate for this week, but Maple and I could probably coordinate something with you if you have a little flexibility.”

“when are you thinking? i have a rehearsal with the kids on thursday but wednesday or friday are good - the kids are performing saturday - could meet before then - Maple had expressed some interest in seeing the show”

“My problem is my company is moving this weekend, so my schedule is very touch and go. Thursday and Friday are out for me. Personally, I would prefer Saturday. But, I haven't talked to Maple yet. Anywho, you have an idea where I stand. Just bear with me being so indefinite. It's not deliberate.”

“Wednesday is also a maybe, if the other doesn't work for you. Your show is Saturday night or afternoon?”

“oh, no problem! its tough trying to coordinate schedules around here”

“If a gathering is arranged for Saturday night, there's a chance I may show up.”

I know a cool jazz bar downtown - east village - no cover, great music, cheap drinks - kinda loud though for talking

“Okay gang - the kids are performing Saturday at 7pm - I belive the show runs for an hour and a half - but its way up here. I would prefer Wednesday but if Saturday works better - it will need to happen later in the evening.

“I can't guarantee Wed. And I won't know one way or the other till that afternoon. I may have to work that night. Unfortunately, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL”

“Wednesday's no good for me, but I wouldn't be a definite for Saturday either, so my opinion shouldn't have much value, LOL!”

“I think Saturday's a better time for it- Wednesday's probably no good for me either.”

“I think Wednesday's not going to work. Let's shoot for Saturday. We can work around TT's schedule. We can just tell the kids to pick up the pace in the performance.

“SH*T! I didn't read the rest of the thread. Sat. no good! I'm taking a 3 day weekend and going away. If this changes to wed., thurs, or anytime next week, I'm there.
SMALLS is an underground(literally) jazz club in the village open all nite. They don't sell alcohol so you can bring your own! Haven't been there in years. I think everyone should reconsider until we can get a good sized group representin!”

Also...it might be fun to meet in NJ somewhere and try to get a bunch of the NJ/PA folks to come, as well as the NY croud.

Can't be a place too loud for talking though, or I won't bother...my personal preference. :)”
