I'm pretty good, Jerbear! Wish I could have seen you again at TC2. Maybe next year, if not sooner!

Also, Tex and everyone who contributed, to deal with the unexpected events, and give backpackers a good name"

Notice how carefully non-specific I was, after being chided, for a previous reference.

Now, who's the one that can't let it die, Prowler?

Ahem.......
People, are you forgetting Mr. Bag Night? I have slept on a straw bed in 2002! I have met 4 other TT'ers!
Is your jealousy so overwhelming that you can't even acknowledge THE greatest backpacker to have ever graced a trail?
Get real.....

Three Cheers For Dunadan
Not only are his accomplishments unsurpassed, but he's from Kansas as well. ;-)

Thankyou, Geezr. It's hard hiking these Kansas mountains. However, your acknowledgement has given me new energy to tackle another year.

Don't sweat it, Mike. We're playing nice. I'm in one of those antagonistic moods today anyway. :)

But its time for me to go home!

I would have to vote Colin Fletcher, after getting plowed over by a car, landing on his head he is slowly working his way back. Tough sumb!tch, quite obviously he's not French.

OK, how about this? It's the people like Dunadan with his 1 bag night. Me with my 5 and "supposed" hitting the trails. Others who hang out here, listen all about the trails, dream of being on the trails, but don't necessarily have the time or dollars or whatever. There's a lot of us here. We're right there in spirit with the great adventurers here.

(sorry bout grouping us together, Dunny. I supposed you don't want to be in on my "backpacking" scam.. durnit, anyhoo)

Yack, Ptooey, cough, cough. I'm trying to get this bad taste out of my mouth after that last post.

A Kansan being compared to an Iowan???? C'mon Liz, get real.
Where do you think backpacking originated?
