BRT - Ozarks Dec 27-29

“Hey Stikky, Moz, Chili, Stalker, Prowler and others -

This trip is still on for the weekend after Christmas but I can't find the original thread. Let's get a count of who's coming and what the meeting point will be at the trailhead.

We talked about a Friday to Sunday hike and will need some shuttling to make it happen.

Who is still in for this trip??

“IN! prolly buffy(buffalo babe) and strat jr, strat jrjr, and strat jrjrjr and buckshot maybe too(hunting dogs are allowed). it's only about an hour and a half from our place so we could prolly help shuttle, we have two vehicles. i'm pretty sure the timing is gonna work out for us.”

“I am interested I am taking mandatory vacation the week of and the week after Christmas so I am looking for something to do. Have not winter hiked so I have some reservations about it but put me down for a strong maybe. It is totally dependent on the weather and temperatures. I just don’t wont to but a lot of new gear right now.”

CMB,,,mozark will be back in a few day, and will lay all the ground work for this trip. but it was to be Dec 26 thru jan30, or something like that...I will only be there for the weekend, arriving and hooking up with you misfits fri night and hiking sat and sun then offtrail late sun and drive home.”

Mozark, this is your hike or was it jgeils' hike? I can't remember anymore, but I just wanted to get some dialog going. It's not that far off and there is a BIG holiday in the middle of it!!

Jerber, have Moz get the secret email going and send the maps and route out - you know how he loves all those finite details..lol

“yeah,,dragging it along the trail should be much easier than trying to cross all those large boulders with it.”
