Both Strep and the flu were going around my son's school early last week. He just finished his antibiotic and is taking Robitussin DM prn for a nagging cough. Don't let it go too long with the holiday and all - they could be well enough by week's end to go depending on how bad it is..

“I'm thinking very serioulsy of going on this trip but am aware that various individuals are arriving and departing on different days.

I'd arrive on Friday and depart Sunday or Monday depending on the shuttle logisitcs (being able to get a ride back to my truck).

Would we coordinate the transportation upon arrival at the Centerpoint trailhead or is it everyman for himself? I've never had to deal with so many varied agendas. Any enlightment would be appreciated.

I know Mozark, but have never met (to the best of my knodledge) the rest of y'all.

I don't mean to be overly obsessive about the details. I'm just trying to make a plan.

Thank you very much for the Lowe backpacking boots and candy. The boots were a bit small so I traded them in for size 10(s) at Ozark Outdoors. They were very happy to let me swap them out since Jerbear was buying every piece of gear in the store.

I want to try out your new pack on this hike and see if it needs to be a new addition to my ever growing gear family. Santa brought me a backpacking bear (sorta looks like jerber, but he's stuffed..lol) and a new ion light by black diamond.

I've heard reports of 2 feet of snow on the weather channel..can anyone tell me what is going on down there?

I'm not so sure I'm ready for snow hiking quite yet..lol
