TrailTalk Continues to Really Thrive
I just wanna say how cool it is that we all have this place to come to. There are so many really cool people here, so many bright people, so many funny people, so many enthusiastic people...so many people I gladly call my friends.

I also think it is very cool how many of us actually get out together and hike. What better way is there to measure the vitality of a backpacking discussion board than to see how many people are getting out there together, and how often. Nearly every weekend there is at least one TT hike; some weekends there are many,

Diving???

No way. TrailTalk is thriving.

If we could lose a little "baggage", this place would be so pimp!

I love this place. NO other site is as responsive as this one. NO other site can give such knowledgeable answers to very important questions. :D NO other site is this funny!

Well gee, Dunadan, I'm really trying, but it takes time. The soy and vegetables diet seems to be pretty good for trimming extra baggage while keeping energy levels up, so I think I will stick with it.

I nominate Fritz for preacher. All those present say aye.

Dear Abby:
My husband is a lying cheat. He tells me he loves me, but he has cheated our entire marriage. He is a good provider and has many friends and supporters. They know he is a lying cheat, but they just avoid the issue. He is a hard worker but many of his co-workers are leery of him. Every time he gets caught, he denies it all. Then he admits that he was wrong and begs me to forgive him. This has been going on for so long, everyone in town knows he is a cheat. Just because I am a lesbian he chooses to ignore me at home. I don't know what to do.

Signed, Frustrated

Dear Frustrated:
You should dump him. Now that you're a New York Senator, you don't need him anymore.

I remember when the site went down for a day or two last year. I had the shakes before Matt got it back up.

You'd think an attorney would be more careful than to say things that could be quoted out of context.
