Confidential sources in the white house today, report that the live nativity scene on the White House lawn will not be done this year. This annual portrayal is a much celebrated event, and is usually set to coincide with the lighting of the White House Christmas tree. Traditionally, members of the Presidents cabinet, the senate, and the house of representatives, enact the Nativity in a week-long portrayal of the birth of Christ, and draws thousands of visitors daily. While the President and first lady remained unavailable for comment, an unidentified source revealed that the president's staff were unable to provide key personnel for the festival. Further investigation lead to a high-placed Central Intelligence Agency employee, who is quoted as saying: " We were simply unable to locate three wise men and a virgin in the District of Columbia."”
