Here what I found: Canon PowerShot S40 Canon PowerShot S45 Sony Cybershot DSC-P9 Kodak Easyshare DX4900 Minolta Dimage F100 Olympus Camedia C-50 <5Megapixels!!!) they are all pretty good and at around 4 megapixel. the sony camera has the zeiss lens. (better lens)” 10:11:31 PM 12/13/02 “type your query into the search feature of this site...there are many threads there to answer your questions.” 11:22:17 PM 12/13/02 “davex saud query..... judges?” 7:16:17 AM 12/14/02 This'll Help...But You Gotta Read 7:37:20 AM 12/14/02 “check the batteries before you buy, some cameras use special and very expensive ones. I tend to rule out any that dont use AA's.” 7:46:40 AM 12/14/02 “ive been hiking with my fujifilm finepix 101a (or is it a101 ?) but its pretty small and light, and reasonably cheap (i think it was about $150 a year ago) no zoom, 1.3 megapixel, 20 second video clips, 2 aa power, lcd screen, smart media cards- ive put a beating on mine and it keeps on kicking, consumer reports rates them very high all around, durability too, and a good bang-for-the-buck if you dont plan to print your pics much above around 8 1/2" x 11", id say its plenty good...i rarely print mine at all, i dont have a good printer, and have no need for hardcopy pictures thats just my .02 later, -nate” 6:35:41 PM 12/14/02
