“BB: I can hike a three dayer.. kinda sorta.. mine will start 4am at Shilalah TH. I will arrive at Martins Fork about sunrise. I will set up camp, and then do an 'out and back' TOWARD the white rocks side of the ridge trail. I will get back to Martins Fork in time to compete. I will hike out using the same ridge trail, but headed the opposite direction (Pinnacle Overlook).

Does that plan intersect with yours in any way?

Dub-- Pinnacle is about 8, White Rocks is about 12. Shilalah is 6, and Chadwick is 2 after shuttle.”

“TD, I think you may have it reversed. Pinnacle to Martin's Fork is 12 and Civic (White Rocks) to Martin's Fork is 7. At least that is what is on the trails page.”

“I believe Chadwick is closed, plus it's private property so I wouldn't count on that trailhead. Pinnacle and Civic are open, I got my data from the NPS park trail website on mileage...I'll check and make sure they are correct.”

“Chili36: Chadwick is closed. It is only an option if you ride the shuttle. The shuttle has permission to cross private land, and will drop you off within two miles of MF.

Thanks Chili, I was thinking it was a drunken festival. I was thinking about driving down, until I saw it 12 hours one way for me. I have no vacation time left and I can't make it that far from Fri to Sun.
I will have to save some vacation for next years. Sounds like it would of been a great chance at meeting the whole TT gang.

“I've emailed some questions to Barb to clarify a few things (like mileages). Once I get answers I'll add them to the site and then email the HTM file to HPM.”

“I remember seeing pictures of TC2 with people in chairs...do most people bring chairs with them or chair kits for their therm-a-rests? Is there a lightweight chair anyone suggests? I couldn't imgagine bringing one that weighed more than a pound, two at most.”
