Geo, this is a great idea. I may just try this.

I just found out my husband it taking the kids for 3 days to VA, ahhh, this would be a perfect time for me to go hiking/backpacking. But now I can't. Maybe if I take her to let's say the gatlinburg outlets, and after that take a little trail. You know something really cool, with lots to see. I got to check into this. Maybe I could sneek it in somehow.

Got to pick her up tonight, so if I have some time, I am still able to post for a couple of hours (have to clean the house too though)”

“Sneaky and devious is a basic survival tactic. My first ex-wife did not like real long drives and would make up excuses why our Sunday drives should end early. I quietly kept making the drives just a few miles longer until one day I said, "Well, Skyline Drive is just a few minutes away. We'd be fools not to go there."”
