“I think it's 4-5 hours from Portland to BSP. Bangor is closer, not sure how the price compares though.

“I have flown into Portland before, but not Bangor. Only times I have been to Maine were on biz with Bath Iron Work's shipyard. One nice thing about flying into Portland was L.L. Bean was on the way to Bath. What kind of temps, bugs, ect. should one ready for?”

“Temps vary. September is supposed to be pleasantly cool, but this year we had a heat wave. Should be few, if any bugs at all.

I should tell you guys about my really weird dreams! This particular dream is the fault of my new hiking buds, I just know it! A great bunch and we have a great time. However I'm used to hiking by myself and my solo habits are glaring, so I've been getting teased alot. I'm always ready at the agreed upon meeting time, so I pace while they pack. Since I graze while hiking, I pace while they sit down for a real lunch. In my dream they were cooking lunch while waiting for me to pack. Turn around's fair play!

“Had a dream I was at Zeleski in Ohio. Got to camp and had no spoon and my cookpot had a hole in it. I had to bum an MRE spoon from walkindude...Oh wait, that really happened.”

“We left without saying goodbye!!! Had to be a dream. When we left, the feelings were similar to graduation day... When we graduated, we felt like we'd never see our friends again. Sadly, we can't seem to keep in touch with every one. The Isle au Haut trip and Baxter in winter trip will seem so much like a reunion!!!! We are so looking forward to good friends and good times. Seeya in Baxter!!!”
