Really Dumb Question

“Those of us at a certain age, have the "vacination scar" on our upper arm. I know the Polio vaccine was the sugar cube (oral) but what is the vaccination which was received from that needle which looked like a vacuum tube? Smallpox was eradicated in the 70s... hmmm?”

“your scar is from the small pox vac. What happens, if I rememebr correctly, is that after the injection, a small "puss" blister froms and goes away after a week + , which leaves the scar. The problem is that it is unknown if your shot is still good after all these years.”
