“Crazy Uncle George from Pomona, Ca. passed away the other day at the age of 92 I think. He had fallen late last week, broke a hip. It took 2 days for surgery since its wasn't a proirity. The doc's and nurses had stated to my greataunt that it was highly unlikely for him to make thru this. I guess they knew something about his 'ticker'. He 'finally' died on the 23th with my great aunt at his side. At flat line she said his face went completely white.

Hmmmm, the 23th. Six yrs ago to the day we all buried Luna, my grandfather. He was buried 2 days after his sons b-day, my uncle Nelson. Who has just been diagnose with cancer of the larynx and started chemo on the 23th.

And to top all that off I just found out that the fire around the corner from my house took the life of Bert two weeks ago. Bert, worked at my corner bar every since I can remember. I would see her practically everyday carry fresh ground beef from the local market to the bar. She was a sweet lady.

I'm really beginning to dislike X-mas time.

Christmas morning was so much fun this year! Abby got a tent from Santa, (a little free standing playhut), gave a squeal and literally took a dive into it!

She wasn't sure what to play with first, kinda turned in circles for a few minutes just taking it all in.

Christmas is a time for celebrating life and it sure sounds like that 92 y/o man lived his to the fullest. My parents both died in their early 50's two months apart, 20 years ago -

Let's all be thankful for whatever time we are alloted here on Earth. Remember, we are just visiting!!
Being here is a privilege, not a right!!
