The pics are scanned and uploaded. Some pics didn't turn out at all, and some were kinda dark. I'll replace with better pics as time goes on.

Enjoy, and happy holidays!

Interesting how much color you see in a black and white photo. Thanks for posting.

Hey, BB, the bunkbeds came out great. Nice job.

Thanks for sharing the photos. I dig the one of Evergreen. Came out great. And, the funky one of Julia in the hat is awesome. Ya got yourself some pretty cute nieces.

The black and white doesn't do the "Woody" cap justice, though!

Nice job with the pictures Buddha Bear, The black and white film is a great idea to experiment with. I think I will try it. I guess we have to be more concious of the shadows, shades, and light.... I will take a roll on my next trip to see how it looks. Some of your B&W pictures have a classic look to them....

Ok, now you got me experimenting. Here are some results, hehehee:

See color and B/w version of the same shot, as well as a funky Photoshop creation.

Also, stikon and liz/BW (won't share the color version just yet)

Some shots

BB... nice idea. Now ya know I'd be lying if I didn't critique honestly. I'll take it you're like stikmon and don't wanna hear it. LOL! A few pointers, however:

1. Make the subject fill the frame. If you want to show a tent put it beside the person, who really needs to be majorly in the forefront of the shot.

2. Red turns to black in B/W. Just remember that.

3. Watch out for backlighting from sun. It will turn faces totally dark. Use either flash or fill flash to help show faces. Also, have people tilt caps and hats up to help eliminate shadows.

OK, will shut up now. Am awaiting a visit from stikmon telling me to not be so anal over photos. LOL!
