Had a greart dinner: City Chicken and mashed taters.

Played Trivial Pursuit like we do every holiday. Mamabull and binra vs. Papabull and myself. Mammabull and binra won. (Pops and I are up 4 games to 2 still).

All in all, it was a good day.”

“I was able to visit with my family and freinds and made it home alive (hasn't stopped snowing here for about 24 hours). i also helped a couple of stranded folks on the highway tonight, that really put me in the holiday spirit, speaking of............., pop, there goes the wine cork!”

Best of all an evening with my parents who now live nearby, my sister-in-law, her husband and my niece, my sons and oldest son's girlfriend from NC. A good time was had by all. My wife's gumbo was out of this world and nobody beats Mom's pies and cookies.”

i got to see my whole family, even though it was snowing like a mofo in WV. the good ol' trusty Saturn got me home in one piece.

now, on to the good stuff. i think my parents, among others in my family, have probs with compulsive buying! i got a Nikon Coolpix 2500 (digital camera); a capucino maker (good thing Tarpy likes coffee); a blender; a TV/radio that works off batteries for all that CAR CAMPING i do; 3 pairs of monkey socks; a pillow with monkeys on it; a piece of pottery with monkeys on it; and a sparkly monkey whose stomach lights up!! wooo hooo.”

“Ditto that BB. Tarabull loaned us all the tapes last year. It took us three days to watch them all, only because we had to do stuff, besides sit in front of the tv. They're so good, one really wants to just sit there and put the next episode in.

I got the backpack and snowshoes and nightvision monocular that you all probably have heard too much about, already. PLUS a $50 REI gift card, a gift certificate for a 60 minute massage at a spa (That ROCKS), cookbook, yummy body lotion, a storybook for my advent collection. Only one more and I'll have twenty five stories, one for each night up to and including Christmas. A pretty sweater, I will return for something I'll wear and use. Oh, a three foot tall Santa with snowshoes on and CASH.

It was a great Christmas, and not only because I was given good gifts, Abby made it so much fun, and there was wonderful company and no stress, relatively. It was the best one I can remember in a long time.”
