Oct. 31, 2002, Thurs. - Fired up the computer, checked my mail, and turned to TT.
At the thread for Ocala NF ECT2, I found that This weekend is the recon hike. I declared, "Let's recon," and started to unpack and repack at the same time. I still had six days more off work. I visited my physical fitness club, took a steam bath, checked my weight, and posted the results on TT as: Nowslimmer's Trip Report.

Nov. 1, 2002, Fri. - Friday evening I joined our fabulous HumanPackMule at Ocala NF. The next morning we were joined by three great people, Big Coop, Tango and Trekker John. The rest is history, as reported in the Ocala recon hike trip report.
