How did you do in 2002?

Not much time remaining to complete those New Year's Resolutions for 2002.
Hmmmmmmmmm.

Now, did you complete what you resolve to do? Some reminders of your resolutions may be here: New years resolutions.

I also resolve to be more patient with other drivers to reduce my own road rage. :)"

Havn't completed the first one, but I've set a path and I'm already traveling down it.

I've gotten better with the second one.

This year, my resolution is to have my condo in selling condition by the end of the year. Measured up the kitchen yesterday for its impending remodel. :)

Looks like I did pretty good. I don't see that I made any resolutions there, either.

2002 isn't over yet. There's alot shaking at work and two days left.

I quit my job, lost my personal bearings, and found a beautiful baby girl. HPM lost his job and is still searching for one. We live on the grace of his parents. You can imagine what I'm praying for in the coming year! I lost my spritual bearings in 2002 and am searching for a new path. I have seen how tenative my health has become (in my eyes at least) and must correct that. I have a long road ahead of me, and I look forward to it.

Here's mine:
"I will enjoy life.
I appreciate the beauty in all I see.
I will converse with those near me.
I will take on life full bore, and grin while I am doing it.
I will sleep with the critters on the trail.
I will relax by the waterfalls.
I will ski down a black diamond trail full bore.
I will seek and find happiness.
I will cause her to be happy too!"

You score me at 100%....
YEHAWWWW!!!!!
Never thought I could really do all that. Now I really gotta challenge myself for next year....

I did pretty well, I managed to get out more this year than last. I still feel like I want to do more backpacking, and will accoplish this in the coming year. Losing some weight wouldn't be a bad idea either, so I resolve to backpack more and lose at least 20 pounds next year!

By the way, it was cool to start this thread and link it to the old resolutions.

Thanks nowslimmer!

I really like Uphill Klimber's resolutions, and will adopt them as my own, but with a few edits.

1. Replace the black diamond with a blue square.

2. The her resolution will apply to MY own "friend", whom I'll be visiting in New Mexico in a few weeks! :-)

Last year I resolved to go on a backpacking trip with a bunch of strangers i met on the internet (and live to tell about it).
So Montanapalooza covered that one.

I wish I would have resolved to lose money in my stock portfolio because I definitely met that one.

I didn't make any resolutions but it was a damn good year.

In 2003 I resolve to hike my butt off, get in the shape of my life, get out of debt, and try not to get fired.

2002 was a good year for road trips..Bryce, Zion, Capitol Reef, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Sequoia, King's Canyon, Chiricahua Nat. Monument, Petrified Forest, the Eastern Sierra, and some mountain and desert hiking...San Gabriels, San Jacintos, San Bernardinos, Joshua Tree, but it wasn't so good for the foot..surgery in January and a long slow rehab...I'm back to running hills, but the foot still gets sore. The bride had surgery in April and has recovered well.

We plan to do several road trips this year, and we plan to get back to our mountain hiking big-time.

We both are back on a 15-20 mile per week running hills regime. Not bad for the old folks. Be well.
