This one is for the men who are posting on the CFMO thread. It's a diversionary tactic

Oh, I just found a killer Robert Burns page. I really have to post this, considering the date...

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And auld lang syne!

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

And surely ye'll be your pint stowp!
And surely I'll be mine!
And we'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

We twa hae run about the braes
And pou'd the gowans fine;
But we've wander'd mony a weary fit,
Sin' auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

We two hae paidled i' the burn,
Frae morning sun till dine;
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin' auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

And here's a hand, my trusty fere!
And gie's a hand o' thine!
And we'll tak' a right gude-willy waught,
For auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

This song is usually attributed to Robert Burns, but was not composed by him, for he says expressly in a letter to Thomson, “It is the old song of the olden times, which has never been in print ... I took it down from an old man's singing.” In another letter he says, “Light be the turf on the heaven-inspired poet who composed this glorious fragment.” Nothing whatever is known of the author of the words; the composer is wholly unknown. This version is the one Burns transcribed.

(and it's STILL easier to follow than Uncle Remus)

Tilt, that song is posted on the CFMO thread, too. (Though somewhat abreviated.)

I probably only have about 6 or 7. I also have a lot more money for gear now that I don't party as much. :-)

i was working on a perfect record of every thursday night in 2002. didn't work out for me though. i went and got a pesky job that requires me to be there early in the morning.
i got 1 week short of 8 months though. it helped that i used to live directly across the street from this particular bar. even on the nights i wasn't gonna drink i'd go over and throw darts or something for a while, just so everyone knew i was ok, and to give the bartenders their pizza i took em every week allowing me to say put it on a tab and never pay that tab:)
