Snowy winter

“How's everyone doin this winter? Now that the Northeast(Maine) finially got what we were used to for snow, there's plenty to do....what'da think?

Let's see for starters there's downhill skiing, x-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, skating, and sledding....so much to choose from just not enough time in the week for it all. The only thing UK and I haven't found time for is skating and sleding. That's it we gotta quit our job.(LOL) :)”

It was in the 50s here yesterday, records highs. Today about 30, 17-degrees with windchill. Tomorrow, 17, but 0 degrees with windchill.

“9-10' base at Mammoth Mountain as of this morning. They got a trace of snow last night. The snow is great! Can't wait til we leave tomorrow!

Downhill skiing this year has by far, is well past last year!!!

Shoulda seen what I did Tuesday at Sunday River!!! Skiing a double black diamond w/great conditions, but...took a little spill, about 100' till I finally stopped....whew, what a rush! Scared the *@%! outta UK though, well me too, 'till I stopped. Just picked myself up, shook myself off, and continued on.”
