Sorry I don't check the board as often as I used to. What kind of things are you looking to do in Florida?

If your looking to backpack you can go an hour or so north and see Myakka River State Park. I am familiar with hiking that park. I might even be available to hike in late Feb. Let me know if you want more info on that park.

You could also go South to the Big Cypress or the everglades. I have not hiked those areas.

If your looking for more "Cityfied" type entertainment. Tell me what you like. You will be pretty centrally located there in Cape Coral.

You will be very close to some nice beaches if you enjoy that kind of thing. There is even a state park Cayo Costa that you can ride a ferry and camp on an Island.

You will only be a few hours or less from the following:
Fort Myers and some nice beaches and islands.
Naples.
The Everglades.
Orlando, Disney, etc.
Tampa - Ybor City, etc.
The possibilities are endless.”

since I will be on a business trip with no access to a vehicle of my own, I am very limited.

Hence my call to arms to the Seminole Clan.

I need a ride!!! As it stands right now, I can fly in on the evening of Friday Feb 21st. and play till monday noon Feb 24. and then be available by mid day on Friday Feb 28 and then be at the airport Sunday by 4pm.

If anyone want to get out and kidnapp me and do some stuff...I'm game...if not, my plan "B" (thanks to Lizs'suggestion) is to rent a bike for those weekends and tour and hang on beaches, sleeping where I can.

So, with a month to plan..."who wants to play"?”
