It was good. I was not going to watch it because I have already seen a similar expedition film, but last night's was even better than the other one. The shots of penguins running away from the killer whales was priceless. Never thought I'd see fear in a bird's face.

Missed it, but the new issue of Outside Magazine has an article on another Antarctica expedidtion that will air next month. Jon Krakauer is in it, and does some of the narration. They'll climb a new route to the tallest mountain on that continent. I'd post more details, but the mag is at home, and I'm at work. Should be a good one!

Weren't the noises from the seals really cool???

It sounded like sound effects from a sci-fi movie!

The colors and clarity were amazing!

Adventurist, have you ever seen the film "Baraka"? I have a feeling you'd absolutely love it.

That one seal pup begging for milk sounded like a kid.

Feeding time....
I remember reading an article on the Exxon disaster in Alaska...when the cleaning crew finally cleaned and nursed a seal back to health. They released the seal with alot of media hype...yep, you guessed it...a killer whale had it for lunch with all those cameras rolling.

It's an hour and a half collage of phenomenal images from different places and cultures from around the world. It's made by the same guy who made a movie called Koyaanisqatsi. The movies are very similar thematically. Excellent cinematography.
